Dr. Anurag Singh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi, India. He is currently serving as the Head, Computer Centre at NIT Delhi. Previously, he served as the Dean of Research and Consultancy and as the Head of the Department (HoD) of Computer Science and Engineering. He received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, where he specialized in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of computer science, mathematics, and complex systems.

Dr. Singh's research interests encompass Network Science, Dynamics on and of Networks, Complex Networks, Epidemic Modeling, Synchronization, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Quantum Networks, Time-Varying Networks, Video Captioning, and Human-Centered AI. His research integrates mathematical modeling, network theory, and AI-driven methodologies to address challenging problems in intelligent systems, computational sciences, and interdisciplinary applications.

With extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Dr. Singh has taught a wide range of courses in computer science, engineering, mathematics, artificial intelligence, and network science. He is passionate about mentoring young researchers and has successfully supervised numerous Ph.D., M.Tech., and B.Tech. students, while continuing to guide several doctoral and postgraduate researchers.

Dr. Singh has been invited as a Keynote Speaker at several prestigious international conferences, including the Complex Networks Conference hosted at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, and the Game Theory and Management Conference 2025 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. His academic contributions have earned him recognition within the international research community, leading to active collaborations with researchers and institutions across France, Germany, Russia, Estonia, and Italy.

Beyond academia, Dr. Singh is the Founder and Promoter of Palanam Technology Pvt. Ltd., an AI-driven startup specializing in intelligent video analytics. The startup has been recognized among the Outstanding Startups under SPRINT – North Edition, a flagship initiative of the 100 Startups, 100 Days Mission organized by AWaDH IIT Ropar and supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, for developing breakthrough AI-based solutions.

Dr. Singh has authored approximately 90 research publications in leading international journals and conferences and holds three published patents in his research domains. He has successfully completed four externally funded research projects supported by various government agencies and collaborative partners. He is currently leading and contributing to several nationally and internationally funded research initiatives supported by the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Technology Innovation Hub (TIH), IIT Patna, AWaDH IIT Ropar, and the Indian Sign Language Project funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

A strong advocate of international research collaboration, Dr. Singh is a key member of the Indo-German collaborative project, "SRH Connects: Strengthening International Academic Networks," funded by SRH University of Applied Sciences, Germany, through a competitive grant of over half a million euros for the period 2026–2028. The project aims to strengthen international academic partnerships through collaborative research, faculty and student mobility, joint curriculum development, and sustainable institutional cooperation between India and Germany.

Dr. Singh is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Fellow of the Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS), and a Fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). He actively contributes to advancing research, innovation, and academic leadership through interdisciplinary collaborations, international partnerships, and technology-driven solutions to societal challenges.
